Covid-19 at Edinburgh Ceilidh Club
We are aware and are monitoring the situation with the coronavirus Covid-19 and its potential risk at Edinburgh ceilidh club. We do not want to create any hype over this but we do wish for all our customers and staff to take precautions and be as safe as possible, for your own and others protection.
As such we request for all customers to observe the following guidelines.
Please refrain from attending our ceilidh dances if you have:
- any flu-like symptoms including fever, cough, or difficulty breathing
- You returned from travel in the last 3 weeks or live in an area with sustained local transmission (not just a travel ban/warning).
- You have had close physical contact with a person currently under investigation for COVID-19, or whom is a confirmed case of COVID-19
If you are healthy and do attend our ceilidhs the best protection is to wash your hands thoroughly and regularly or if you are unable to do this then use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol content.
We recommend that you wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds (long enough to sing “Happy Birthday” to yourself twice) every 4 or 5 dances as well as on arrival and before leaving our ceilidhs.
